Hilands Golf Club offers both golf and social memberships with various age categories. In addition to golf and outstanding dining, members also enjoy the club's swimming and wading pools.

The membership process begins with a completed application returned to the club office accompanied by the appropriate initiation fee. A completed application will have two sponsors that are Local Active Voting Members in good standing and the applicant's signature.

Before the Board of Directors reviews the application for final approval, the applicant's name will be sent to all Regular Members for approval. Members will have ten days to vote. Provided member approval, the applicant will be forwarded to the Board of Directors for a final vote. Upon majority approval by the Board of Directors, the applicant will be notified of acceptance to the Hilands Golf Club.

Regular Members shall consist of members over 21 years of age, whose place of residence or business is in Yellowstone County, Montana or a contiguous county. Members have full use of all Club facilities, including use of the golf course without payment of green fees. Members have voting rights and the right to hold office.

JUNIOR MEMBERS shall consist of members over the age of 21 and who have not reached the age of 35 years of age, whose principal place of residence or business is in Yellowstone County, Montana, or a contiguous county. Junior members have the same privileges as Members other than voting or holding office.

SOCIAL MEMBERS shall consist of persons over 21 years of age who have been approved for such membership in accordance with the rules pertaining to all club membership. Social members and spouses will be entitled to use of the clubhouse food and beverage facilities but not the golf course or swimming pool.
